Lockheed Martin to acquire Terran Orbital

On Aug. 15, Lockheed Martin stated that it buying Terran Orbital for $0.25 per share in cash and will retire the company’s existing debt. The deal, expected to close in the fourth quarter, has an enterprise value of $450 million. Shares in Terran Orbital closed Aug. 14 at $0.40. Marc Bell, chief executive of Terran Orbital said in a statement, “This move will open new opportunities for growth and innovation, and we couldn’t be more excited about the future.
